• Water Quality Analysis and Instrumentation: Understanding and utilizing various analytical techniques and instruments for water quality monitoring (Spectrophotometry, Chromatography, etc.).
• Water Microbiology and Pathogen Control: Identifying and controlling harmful microorganisms in water, including bacteria, viruses, and protozoa. This includes understanding disinfection by-products.
• Water Treatment Plant Design and Operation: Principles of plant design, process control, and operational management for effective and efficient water treatment.
